Lip Augmentation

One of the desired facial features is full lips. However, not everyone is lucky enough to be born with full lips, so there is a simple cosmetic procedure that can help you gain them. Lip augmentation gives you full, plump lips and can also reduce wrinkles around the mouth.

There are various options available. One procedure takes fat from another area on your body, like your back, and grafts it into the lips. This can last longer than other procedures and can also be permanent. Lips can also be injected with collagen or Restylane, but this is only a temporary solution and will need to be repeated frequently. Permanent implants can also be inserted via small incisions at the corners of the mouth. These implants include Alloderm®, Fore-Tex and SoftForm.
